BOOTLEG BOOGNISH is a Ween tribute act from Northern California featuring members of BOOT JUICE and SMOKEY THE GROOVE.

Originally billed as EVAN DALY PLAYS WEEN, vocalist/guitarist Evan Daly, bassist Austin Farwell, and drummer Cody Naab originally formed the group in 2023 to perform Ween’s 2003 album, Quebec, in its entirety.

In 2025, the band returned with a new moniker (and homemade flag) to once again pay homage to Ween’s patron saint, the demon-god Boognish. After a short run of shows playing Ween’s 1994 classic, Chocolate and Cheese, they celebrated Halloween by performing an all-request night to a packed room of elated Ween fans. Who knows what they’ll do next, so stay tuned (and stay brown).
